Antique Sterling Silver Spinner Fob Necklace, 1911

This beautiful spinner fob features a a Bloodstone on one side and a Carnelian stone on the other. It has a lovely chain detailing. The hallmarks along the bottom of the pendant indicate that is was made in Birmingham, England in 1911.

This would have originally hung from a mans pocket watch chain, we have turned it into a necklace and paired it with a new 20" sterling silver chain.

  • Antique Sterling Silver, Bloodstone and Carnelian spinner.
  • Hallmarks dating 1911.
  • Birmingham, England
  • Pendant measures 1 .25" tall, approx 1" wide.
  • New 20" sterling silver chain included.
  • Bloodstone has a fascinating history! The Ancient Greeks revered the Bloodstone as a gem with glorious powers. They referred to it as Heliotrope, which translates to Sunstone. It was believed to have healing powers gifted by the gods, especially when it came to healing all things related to the blood. It is believed to hold both physical and emotional healing properties.

Part of the beauty of antiques are their character and imperfections, we have done our best to describe them. We hope you appreciate their patina as much as we do, please feel free to contact us with any questions.
