Made in Birmingham, England by J.W. Tiptaft, a silversmith company founded in 1882, this medallion was awarded in 1926. Inscribed on the back is "Cumb School Shield, won by W. Richardson, 1926-27"
The front of this beautifully simple round medallion features an engraved shield surrounded by a leafy motif, and a banner across the top supports the ring to thread a chain through. The front of the shield is blank, and ready to engrave with a personal message!
