Antique silver plate sugar sifter/berry spoon
A lovely antique collectible sugar sifter. Perfect for cocoa, cinnamon or icing sugar. Also great for olives!
It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still, there are signs of the silver plate being rubbed on the handle and bowl interior exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) as well as light scuffs and scratches appropriate for the age of the spoon but adding to the aged charm and character of the piece.
It features a lovely accentuated scoop and flat bowl has been decorated with a series of holes perfect for sifting or sprinkling. Also excellent for pickled onions or olives.
The reverse side shows Victorian British Hallmarks. C. Early 1900’s
